One of the goals of the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation is to educate the public about all the services provided by DFR, such as, insurance, banking, securities; as well as, providing helpful information to avoid scams and frauds.
Our DFR experts are available to speak to your group in-person or virtually. We can accomodate requests for a single speaker or an entire panel to help faciliate financial literacy for a wide variety of topics.
To whom do we typically speak? Civic groups, retiree groups, local Chambers of Commerce, school groups, state partners, and industry associations.
Where do we go? All over the state, virtually or in-person. We are dedicated to reaching all Vermonters who want to learn more about banking, insurance, and securities.
Why do we do this? We feel strongly that what we do and what we provide the citizens of Vermont is important. We believe the basic knowledge and education we provide consumers protects Vermonter's financial wellness.
