Registration in Vermont

Risk Retention Groups

If you are a Risk Retention Group domiciled in a state other than Vermont and would like to register to do business in Vermont, please submit the following material:

  1. NAIC Risk Retention Group Uniform Registration Form including the Appointment of Attorney 
  2. A copy of certificate of authority from your current state of domicile.
  3. Certificate of Good Standing from your current state of domicile (no older than 60 days)

Risk Purchasing Groups

If you are a Purchasing Group domiciled in a state other than Vermont and would like to register to do business in Vermont, please submit the following material:

  1. NAIC Risk Purchasing Group Application with Power of Attorney Form (NAIC Form E).
  2. Evidence that you are qualified as a purchasing group in your current state of domicile (evidence to be no older than 60 days).
